All online orders are shipped from our 320 University Drive location within 3 Business Days of receipt. All orders are shipped with United Parcel Service (UPS), insured for the value of the merchandise. Please refer to the information below for rates and estimated transit times.
Please Note: UPS can not deliver to Post Office Box, Army Post Office (APO) or Fleet Post Office (FPO) addresses. A physical street address is required for all shipments.
Current shipping rates for all orders are:
UPS Ground (to all U.S. states except Alaska and Hawaii):
$7.95 for orders valued at $99.99 or less.
$7.95 + $0.50 per $100 value for orders of $100 or more.
Delivered in 1 to 5 Business Days*
2ND Day Air (to all U.S. states):
$17.25 for first item + $2.25 per item for each additional item.
Delivered in 1 to 2 Business Days*
Next Day Air (to all U.S. states):
$28.75 for first item + $3.25 per item for each additional item.
Delivered Next Business Day (No Weekend Delivery Available)*
* Times indicated refer to transit time only. All orders ship within 3 business days.

We are confident that you will be satisfied with your purchase, however, General Merchandise items purchased in-store, including gifts, clothing and supplies, may be returned within 2 weeks of the purchase date for exchange or a full refund, with receipt.
Textbooks purchased for the current semester are eligible for a full refund when returned, with a copy of a current class schedule, by the return date printed on the register receipt. No returns will be authorized after that date. All textbooks purchased after that date are not eligible for a refund.
Reference materials, including Bar Charts, Dictionaries and non-required study aids, are not returnable.
Online Purchase Returns:
Return Authorization is required for all returns of purchases made online.
Return Authorization for General Merchandise, including gifts, clothing and supplies, may be requested up to two weeks after delivery.
Textbook return authorizations may be requested through the date posted below for the current semester. No returns will be authorized after that date.
Spring 2010 Last Day for Full Refund on Textbooks - January 26
Mini Session 2010 Last Day for Full Refund on Textbooks - May 19
Summer I 2010 Last Day for Full Refund on Textbooks - June 11
Summer II 2010 Last Day for Full Refund on Textbooks - July 16

Online purchases may also be returned to our main store at 320 University Drive in San Marcos, Texas, without prior authorization, if made within the times outlined above.
All returns:
Returned merchandise must be in the same condition as when purchased (shrink-wrap intact, packages unopened, and tags attached).
All refunds will be issued as credit to the credit/debit card account on which the purchase was originally charged. It may take 2-10 business days for your financial institution to post the credit to your account once the credit has been issued. Only purchases made by cash or check will be eligible for a cash refund. Shipping charges are not eligible for refund.
Return Policy Instructions
To obtain authorization to return items purchased online call 512/392-6641, or 800/294-7925 (outside San Marcos), and ask for Web Customer Service, or email us at customerservice@bobcatbooks.com. Return Merchandise Authorizations are valid for 7 days from issue date.
Select a carrier that offers you the option to insure and track your package. UPS, FedEx, and USPS all offer this option. Insuring and tracking your package protects you as the shipper and helps ensure your shipment goes to the correct destination, in the same condition as when you sent it. Write down your tracking number and keep it until Colloquium Bookstores has refunded your money. Repackage your item(s) in the original packaging or in an appropriate cardboard box. Use packing material (e.g. Styrofoam peanuts, bubble wrap, etc) around your item(s) and tape your package securely.
Include your Return Merchandise Authorization number on the return mailing label, as indicated below. Also include a copy of the RMA or a copy of the original packing list inside the package. Packages received without a RMA number will be refused and returned to the sender. Failure to include a copy of the RMA or a copy of the packing list may delay processing of your credit.

Shipping is the responsibility of the customer and is not refundable, unless due to our error. No credit is given for lost or damaged packages in route to Colloquium Bookstores. Please insure and track your package. A refund will be posted to your credit card or account once your return is received and processed. Processing times for returns vary, and may take up to 30 days from the day the return is received for a credit to be transmitted to your credit card or account. It normally takes 2-10 business days for financial institutions to process the transmitted credit request.
